When we met Josh De Loach of Hook and Ladder Winery (http://www.hookandladderwinery.com/our-vineyards/) a couple of years ago we immediately wanted to coordinate a dinner. Thanks to our friend Bates Bauer of World Wide Wine and Spirits it's a happenin'!!
The dinner will comprise mostly of lamb (purchased from a local vendor at Manhattan Farmers Market) and other produce from our farmers. It will be a 'Farm to Fork' deliciousness. Includes: Labco Oktoberfest pint (first 100 guaranteed), our delicious German food and most awesome Oktoberfest brews.
Each ticket has eight ‘punches’
Food= 2 punches
Beer= 1 punch
Here is the schedule for the day: (subject to change)
- Time: 4 to 9 pm on the Labco patio
- Cost is $35.
- For your thirty-five bucks you get a groovy 2015 Labco Oktoberfest glass, a punch-hole ticket to be used for our awesome beer and awesome German food and the amusement of the crowd!
We have a limited amount of Oktoberfest pint glasses.
These will be distributed first come-first serve.
- “4-person 100 yard Stein Relay” – Team with the quickest time and least spilt beer wins! Check in time: 3:45 to 4:15 pm. Start time 4:30 pm
- “Stein hoisting contest “- How long can you hold a 1 liter stein of beer? Can’t spill any beer or your eliminated! Elimination rounds begin 45 minutes after relay race. Championship round after barrel rolling!
- “Barrel Rolling” – Do you have what it takes to roll a 40 pound wooden keg 50 yards?!
- PRE-REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED! No registration fee. Top two awarded prizes!!
Traditional attire is encouraged…….but jeans and tees will do.
