Little Apple Brewing Company |
Fun Facts and History The Little Apple Brewing Company opened its doors for business in April of 1995 as a joint venture between a group of prominent Angus cattle breeders, led by Galen and Lori Fink and local restaurateurs Russ and Kelly Loub. The concept was simple: feature the best steaks available (Certified Angus Beef), bring the fresh taste of handcrafted beers to Manhattan, Kansas and offer a comfortable atmosphere with the friendliest service you can find in these parts. Inauspiciously located in the West Loop Center, the Little Apple Brewing Company still stakes its reputation on providing great steaks (and other menu items) and a satisfying selection of fresh-brewed beers. Over the years, we've garnered our share of recognition for our efforts. Notable among these have been the Kansas Beef Council "Beef Backer" Award, Best Steak in Manhattan" (Manhattan Mercury readers poll), two-time winner of Certified Angus Beef "Tradition of Excellence" Award, and numerous placings in international beer competitions including the "Gold Medal Award" at the Great American Beer Festival for our Big 12 Barleywine. However our greatest recognition has been the patronage of our loyal customers, who continue to make us Manhattan's number one destination for great beef and beer. So if you happen to be in Manhattan and want to experience the true enjoyment of a great steak and pint of brew, stop on in and see what's brewing at the Little Apple. If you can't make it here, stop in our Company Store for Little Apple shirts, glasses, and breweriana.
