Bocks are strong, dark ambered, all-malt lagers. The body of this doppelbock (doppel = double) is comprised of lightly toasted Munich-style malt. The body is full, slightly sweet, faint suggestion of caramel notes with just a hint of hop (bitterness). This beer is recommended to those who like a beer on the sweet side (great dessert/after meal beverage). John brewed this on Nov. 30; conditioned for 8 weeks before put on tap.

A devilishly decieving beer full of complexity! A light colored brew, that is medium bodied, slightly sweet (candy sugar used to lighten body texture), moderately malty, low hop character, spicy, clovelike, fruity (banana) fragrance and flavor (due to the Belgian yeast). A wonderful match with our chili, or other spicy dishes.
Brewed on Jan. 25; conditioned for 3 weeks.
